Jennifer Keating and Anna Pinedo named 2020 “Top Women in Dealmaking” by The Deal
Mayer Brown announced that Corporate & Securities partners Jennifer Keating (Chicago) and Anna Pinedo (New York) were named to The Deal’s 2020 list of “Top Women in Dealmaking.” The list recognizes exemplary women in the legal profession who focus on M&A, private equity, restructuring and activist investing, as well as their achievements in mentorship, advancing gender diversity and thought leadership.
A co-leader of the firm’s Chicago Corporate & Securities practice, Ms. Keating represents clients in domestic and cross-border stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and other strategic transactions, as well as general corporate matters. She represents public and private companies across a wide range of industries, including technology, chemicals, financial services and agribusiness.
Ms. Pinedo, a co-leader of the firm’s Global Capital Markets practice, concentrates her practice on securities transactions. She represents issuers, investment banks/financial intermediaries and investors in financing transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. Her practice includes representing issuers in connection with mergers with SPACs, as well as advising in connection with SPAC PIPE transactions, and related matters.
