Mayer Brown named Real Estate and Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year at the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2021
Mayer Brown announced that it received three awards at the prestigious Asian Legal Business (ALB) Hong Kong Law Awards. In the highly-competitive Real Estate and Intellectual Property practice categories, Mayer Brown was recognized as Law Firm of the Year. The firm also received the M&A Deal of the Year.
This year’s recognition marks the 15th time the firm received the Real Estate Law Firm of the Year, illustrating its leadership position in the industry.

Mayer Brown also received Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year, for its multi-jurisdictional work representing global clients to protect, preserve and enforce their intellectual property assets.

Finally, the firm also received the M&A Deal of the Year award for its advisory role in Swire Properties’ sale of City Plaza One to Gaw Capital fund for HK$9.845 billion.
The ALB Hong Kong Law Awards recognize the top private practitioners, as well as elite in-house legal departments in Hong Kong. The awards were selected by an independent panel of judges after reviewing information submitted by the finalists along with intensive research conducted by the publication.
