Mayer Brown adds Aymeric de Moncuit as partner to its Antitrust & Competition practice in Brussels
Mayer Brown announced today that Aymeric de Moncuit joined the firm as a partner in its Antitrust & Competition practice in Brussels. He joins from the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg, where he was a Référendaire for eight years.

Aymeric’s background includes significant experience in key areas such as Internet of Things (IoT), green deal and ESG. Prior to joining the Court, Aymeric was a competition lawyer in private practice, and a case handler with the French Competition Authority. He boasts considerable fluency in EU competition rules (cartels, competitor collaborations, dominance, State aid) and experience of the European courts. Aymeric has a reputation for an integrated and collaborative work style, and a well-developed network of contacts from European institutions and businesses. In addition to lecturing French and EU Competition Law in Panthéon-Assas, he is a prolific writer and speaker on EU litigation, State aid and competition/antitrust law topics.
