Mayer Brown advises the Wierig Group on Vidia’s investment

Düsseldorf – Mayer Brown is advising the owners of the Wierig Group on the acquisition of a participation by Vidia. The Wierig Group, which has been in existence for 130 years, specializes in the construction and maintenance of flat roofs and facades as well as solar systems. Headquartered in Siegburg, the company operates five sites in Germany with a total of around 210 employees.

Vidia is an investment company based in Munich. Vidia invests in companies that offer technology, expertise and services for decarbonization and sustainable climate solutions.

The owners will retain a stake in the Wierig Group as part of the new partnership and will continue to contribute their technical expertise. The aim of the partnership is to continue the Group's growth and enter new markets.
