Mayer Brown promotes Edouard Gergondet to partner
Paris – Mayer Brown announced today the promotion of Edouard Gergondet to a Partner in the Compliance, Investigations and Regulatory team.
Admitted to the Paris and Brussels Bar, Edouard advises French and international companies in the Industrial, Finance, Technology and Retail sectors on a range of compliance issues including anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, export controls, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, business ethics and ESG.
His cross-sectoral experience also covers risk assessments, due diligence, transactional matters, contract reviews, as well as establishing and monitoring clients’ internal compliance programs. Edouard has also conducted internal investigations and assisted clients before relevant jurisdictions and authorities on various compliance-related issues.
