Veronica has extensive experience advising Fortune 500 clients on compliance with cybersecurity requirements and national security authorities. She has advised a broad spectrum of industries, across IT and OT, on implementing compliance programs and incident response including private equity firms and their portfolio companies, financial institutions, defense, space and satellite, technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare and energy.
Veronica is recognized for her ability to communicate effectively with clients and finding innovative solutions, particularly when navigating complex, crisis situations. Throughout incident response, she supports clients to mitigate risk including by identifying and retaining resources and experts, working with cyber threat actor negotiation firms, engaging with law enforcement and regulators, and managing the notification process. Veronica draws upon this experience to develop governance programs, lead tabletop exercises, and advise senior management on managing risks associated with cybersecurity.
Experiência
- Led and supported cyber incident response for a broad range of incidents, including ransomware, state-sponsored intrusions and breaches of sensitive information, as well as addressing legal, regulatory and reputational situations throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Provided strategic counseling for cyber legal risk assessments, including penetration tests and red teaming conducted under privilege.
- Ran tabletop exercises and training sessions related to cybersecurity, national security and business continuity risks.
- Provided advice regarding international law and human rights law, including advice to a United Nations entity regarding privacy considerations of cross-border data sharing for law enforcement and counterterrorism purposes.
- Advised on vulnerability disclosure programs and sharing of threat information with ISACs and government agencies globally.
- Supported the response to Congressional inquiries and requests for information on national security matters.
- Advised entities on negotiations of, and compliance with, agreements with US national security agencies.
