David Puzenat

David advises a wide range of French and foreign clients (on the sponsors’ side and the lenders’ side, as well as on the borrowers’ side), especially in the private equity industry (sponsors, debt funds, banks, or borrowers). He also assists international company groups and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2025, David practiced for more than eight years as a financing in-house counsel within listed and unlisted international groups, before joining the banking & finance department of a leading law firm in 2017, where he has acted on a large number of LBOs and corporate financing transactions.

In addition to his native French, David is fluent in English.
