In his capacity as the managing partner in New York, Mr. Ingber told the publication that he has continued to move the growing office in a direction of great importance to him, “recognizing the power that a strong and diverse firm culture has in inspiring our colleagues to invest in their own careers, our firm and the New York community.”
NYLJ highlighted Mr. Ingber’s various achievements, including his efforts to expand the office both organically and through the lateral market, launch new wellness initiatives, and partner with community organizations. Also gratifying was his personal involvement in several pro bono matters.
With the business and profession of law changing, Mr. Ingber said it’s important to be mindful that five generations are currently working within a law firm environment. “Generational expectations have shifted; goals and priorities are different, work habits are different and modes of communication are different. Different generations need to embrace and learn from each other,” he told NYLJ.
Mr. Ingber is a trial lawyer representing financial institutions, major corporations, insurance companies and individuals in complex, sensitive and high-profile litigation matters, with cases ranging from complex commercial disputes to civil and criminal securities fraud actions and cutting-edge intellectual property matters. He previously served as a co-leader of the firm’s global Litigation & Dispute Resolution and global Banking & Finance Litigation practices. Mr. Ingber currently serves as chair of the New York office’s Pro Bono Committee.
