Matthew Ingber, managing partner of Mayer Brown’s New York office, has been named a finalist by New York Law Journal (NYLJ) for the “Office Managing Partner of the Year” award. This award recognizes leaders of New York law firms who “balance their caseloads with management of their firm’s day-to-day affairs while keeping an eye on the firm’s long-term strategic vision.”

During Matthew’s tenure as the firm’s New York office managing partner, the office has recorded a growth milestone, surpassing 300 lawyers for the first time in the office’s 45-year history. Alongside the expansion, Matthew and the office have upheld service to the city of New York through continued commitment to promoting racial, social, and economic justice, earning the office “Law Firm of the Year” by the City Bar Justice Center, a long-standing pro bono partner.

Matthew shared, “I have worked hard to move us in a direction that is important to me personally, recognizing the power that a strong and diverse firm culture has in inspiring our colleagues to invest in their own careers, our firm and the New York community.”
