Mayer Brown has been recognized for its client innovation at the Legal Innovation Awards 2022, winning an award in the "Standout Diversity in Innovation" category.
The firm was honored with the award for its work with firm client Cummins on a bespoke, interactive app, which provides the business with quick access to diversity and inclusion data and regulations for more than 50+ jurisdictions. The DE&I app, designed and developed by a multi-disciplinary Mayer Brown team including Employment & Benefits, Design and Legal Innovation, was praised for its intuitive and user-friendly interface and ability to provide Cummins with timely data on a business-critical issue.
The judges described the web-based app as "focused and very well-executed across multiple jurisdictions."
"It was exciting to work with the Cummins team on this app and to have the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of applying innovation to business-critical, global projects," said Miriam Bruce, Employment & Benefits partner at Mayer Brown.
Mayer Brown was also shortlisted for an award in the Future of Legal Services category for its advisory role in a first of its kind virtual trial at the High Court.
The Legal Innovation Awards, now in their eighth year, celebrates innovation in the legal sector and work on precedent-setting, game-changing projects and initiatives.
