Mayer Brown announced today that associate Amber Bennett was named to Diversity MBA Media’s “Top 100 Under 50” list, which recognizes “executives and emerging leaders in corporate America who are reaching benchmarks and making a difference in their industry.” Ms. Bennett is the only private practice lawyer honored with the “emerging leader” distinction.
Based in Chicago, Ms. Bennett is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Employment Litigation & Counseling practices. She represents clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters. She has significant experience in areas including labor and employment, internal investigations, toxic torts, antitrust, and complex electronic discovery. Ms. Bennett also advises on labor and employment issues in corporate transactions, including conducting employment-related due diligence, negotiating contract provisions, and drafting employment agreements.
As an engaged member of her community, Ms. Bennett serves as a mentor with the Chicago Scholars program in addition to serving on its Associate Board of Directors. She is also active with the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, having served several years as treasurer.
