Matthew Griffin joins Mayer Brown's investment funds practice in London

London — Mayer Brown is delighted to announce the arrival of investment funds lawyer Matthew Griffin, who has joined the firm's Corporate & Securities practice in London as a partner.

He has considerable leadership skills and brings more than two decades of fund formation and investment management experience in various jurisdictions, which will be of huge benefit to investor clients pursuing global strategies."

Matthew advises on fund formations and fund investments across illiquid and liquid asset classes in Europe and around the world for sponsors, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. His practice also includes advising on co-investments, secondary transactions, carried interest arrangements and other complex fund related matters, including fund restructurings, continuation funds and liquidity events. Matthew joins Mayer Brown from White & Case, where he was head of the London funds and investment management practice. He has also worked in the investment funds practices of three leading international law firms and as an actuarial adviser for a large financial services company.
