London —  Mayer Brown has advised Round Hill Capital, the real estate investment, development and asset management firm, on the sale of its student housing business, Nido Living, to Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments).  

Round Hill acquired Nido Living in 2012 and has since grown the business into one of Europe's leading providers of purpose-built student accommodation. As part of the transaction, Round Hill Capital is also selling its stake in its existing student accommodation joint venture with CPP Investments, which comprises more than 5,000 beds across 15 European assets. Mayer Brown also acted for Round Hill on the setting up of this joint venture in 2021.
