Mayer Brown lawyers appointed to ABA Antitrust Law Section leadership roles

The American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section appointed Mayer Brown lawyers Gail Levine, Dr. Andrea Pomana, Rachel Lamorte, Scott Perlman, Katherine Bleicher, and Catherine Medvene to leadership positions for the Section’s 2024-2025 term.

Gail, co-leader the firm’s global Antitrust & Competition practice, was reappointed to serve as vice chair of the Women.Connected Committee, and as a member of the Task Force on Antitrust, CP & Diverse Consumers. Gail is an advisor to clients with business-critical mergers or acquisitions facing antitrust issues.

Andrea, a partner in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice of the Brussels and Frankfurt offices, was reappointed to serve as vice chair of the International Committee. She advises on European and German antitrust law and foreign direct investment.

Rachel, a partner in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice in the Washington DC office, was reappointed to serve as vice chair of the Women.Connected Committee. She advises on complex antitrust litigation and antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions and civil investigations.

Scott, a partner in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice in the Washington DC office, was reappointed to serve as vice chair of the Unfair Competition Committee. He advises on mergers and acquisitions and other transactional work, as well as on antitrust litigation and counseling.

Katherine, an associate in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice in the Washington DC office, will serve as vice chair of Agriculture & Food Committee. Katherine focuses her practice on antitrust class actions and antitrust counseling.

Catherine, an associate in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice in the Washington DC office, was reappointed to serve as a young lawyer representative of the Spring Meeting Committee. She represents clients in complex commercial and contract litigation, antitrust, and international and domestic commercial arbitration.
