Mayer Brown advises Borromin on the acquisition of EBERLE Controls GmbH

Mayer Brown has advised Borromin Capital Fund IV S.C.S. SICAV RAIF (Fund) on the acquisition of EBERLE Controls GmbH (EBERLE). The terms of the agreement are confidential. EBERLE is a leading German company providing innovative heating and air-conditioning solutions for private households as well as public and commercial buildings. It focuses on energy-efficient temperature control systems and the electrotechnical installation products. EBERLE has its headquarters in Nuremberg and covers the entire supply chain. Together with the management team of EBERLE, which invested in the company as part of the transaction, Borromin will drive the geographical expansion of the company as well as support the further structural and strategic development of the company and its employees. Eberle Controls GmbH offers intelligent solutions for temperature regulation, air conditioning and heating control for private households as well as for public and commercial buildings. Founded in 1932, the company employs over 150 people at its main office in Nuremberg. Since 2014, Eberle has been part of the internationally active Schneider Electric Group. Borromin Capital Management (formerly Steadfast Capital) is an independent private equity investor focusing on medium-sized companies in the German-speaking part of Europe and the Benelux countries.
