Shanghai Chemicals Round Table 2020 – Part 3

分享
Over the last decade, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of foreign direct investment (FDI) control regimes in Europe and worldwide, and a strengthening of many existing regimes, leading to additional administrative scrutiny of M&A transactions. At the Chemicals Roundtable on 19 November partners Hannah Ha, David Harrison and Jason Hungerford looked at the changing regulatory landscape for FDI, considering regimes and developments in Europe (including UK), USA and China, and providing an update on the Anti-Monopoly Law regime in China. They also made practical recommendations for M&A transactions, considering ways to navigate the FDI review process, and implications for transaction documentation. This session was part of a series (presented virtually this year) organised by Mayer Brown's Global Chemical Industry Group.
