Mayer Brown has partnered with Akademie Fresenius to deliver a series of online seminars on the EU's fast-evolving Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS).
The series is aimed at the chemical sector and its downstream industries and will highlight and discuss the impact the CSS will have on different regulatory areas: asking how industry can manage the upcoming changes; considering possible scenarios; and looking at what mechanisms are on hand or need to be developed.
The series begins with a free seminar, “Part 1 - The CSS: Key Issues and Workable Solutions” on 19 May 2022 10:00 - 12:30 CEST and is followed by three further sessions:
- Part 2 - Reforming REACH restriction and authorisation (31 May 2022 10:00-12:00 CEST)
- Part 3 - Revision of the CLP Regulation: The problem of harmonizing CLP and GHS (13 June 2022 10:00-12:00 CEST)
- Part 4 - Polymer Registration as part of the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (27 June 2022 10:00-12:00 CEST)
