Plastics Recycling: An Overview of The Policy and Legal Landscape in the EU

During the 5th Annual Innovative Plastics Processing and Recycling Conference (Berlin, 27 – 29 November 2024), Javier Saladich will present a panoramic review of the policy framework on plastics recycling, including CEAP and the European strategy for plastics; an update on current and upcoming legislation aimed at enhancing plastics recycling and the increasing demand for recycled products. The session will also address the life-cycle approach in EU policy from raw material use to end-of-life recycling targets and explore guidelines on product design and advertising related to recyclability and recycled content.
