On October 10, 2022, the European Commission published its long-awaited report on the functioning of the EU securitisation regulation. While some Australian market participants issuing securities into Europe have complied to varying degrees, the report gives clarity on the commission’s intent that offshore issuers comply in full with the EU securitisation regulation.
