Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Castlelake on the BRL 368 million sale of solar power plants to Atiaia Renováveis
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Castlelake on the sale of the Assuruá and Verde Vale III solar power plants to Atiaia Renováveis, in a BRL 368 million transaction.
Located in the Brazilian state of Bahia, the two complexes have a combined installed capacity of 54.5MWp (44.8MWac) and long-term contracts acquired through the Reserve Energy Auction.
The team was led by partner Bruno Werneck from the Corporate and M&A practice and included associates Sarah Ferreira and Bernardo Castro, also from the Corporate and M&A practice, as well as partner Celso Grisi and associate Raphael Furtado from the Firm's Tax practice.
