Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Fármacia e Drogaria Nissei on R$ 360 million capital increase

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Farmácia e Drogaria Nissei on a capital increase of R$ 360 million, which was arranged through a structured financing of its controlling shareholders (issue of debentures convertible into shares) with Farallon, one of the largest hedge funds in the United States. The structured financing guarantees Farallon an upside in a potential liquidity event for Nissei, including an IPO or M&A.
