Mayer Brown partner Stephanie Hurst named a 2024 “Top Woman Lawyer” by Daily Journal

Mayer Brown Corporate & Securities partner Stephanie Hurst was selected to the Daily Journal's 2024 “Top Women Lawyers” list, which highlights top-performing women lawyers in California and their high-profile legal work.
Stephanie focuses on M&A, venture capital, private equity and other corporate transactions, including joint ventures and other collaborations, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions.
“I was ultimately drawn to M&A because of the impact of M&A work – helping companies grow and diversify and helping form new partnerships,” Stephanie said. “No deal is the same and M&A work often involves consideration of innovative decision-making and crafting creative solutions to address evolving technologies.”
Stephanie also leads Mayer Brown’s collaboration with B Lab US & Canada and its "Level" program, which was created to promote inclusion and support of businesses facing “systemic challenges to economic empowerment.” Through this program, she provides pro bono legal support to small businesses led by Black, Indigenous or People of Color who also identify as women.
