Singapore seeks stock market cure

分享

Corporate & Securities partner Justin Tan (Singapore) is quoted in this article discussing how Singapore can revitalize its stock exchange.

He says that utility-like companies that dominate the Strait Times Index are attractive in their own way and that these companies can generate fairly consistent cashflow, have stable market share and their pricing power is subject to government regulation. "In fact, we should embrace it and consider whether it is possible to internationalize this part of the SGX and become the leading exchange for these sorts of listings globally."
