Mayer Brown recognized as a 2024 “Pro Bono Leader” by ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service
For the second consecutive year, Mayer Brown has been named a “Pro Bono Leader” by the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service in recognition of the firm’s contributions to the ABA Free Legal Answers, a virtual legal advice portal.
Now in its ninth year, ABA Free Legal Answers has responded to more than 400,000 civil legal questions submitted by users to the over 15,000 pro bono attorneys from 43 jurisdictions, including a federal portal addressing veterans’ benefits and immigration questions.
Mayer Brown lawyers answered 537 civil legal questions on the Illinois, New York, North Carolina, and Utah sites of ABA Free Legal Answers in 2024.
