Guillaume De Meersman advises clients on antitrust investigations and cases. He serves clients across business sectors in respect to horizontal and vertical agreements, abuse of dominant position, merger control, State aid, actions for damages, compliance, and foreign investment and foreign subsidy control matters.

Served clients in:

• International cartel investigation procedures before the European Commission, such as in the latter’s airfreight investigation and in the ensuing appeal against the European Commission’s decision before the EU General Court
• Dawn raids (e.g., luxury and financial services sectors) and in subsequent procedures before the European Commission and national competition authorities.
• Investigation before a foreign competition authority about an alleged abuse of dominant position in the energy sector, which implicated the successful triggering of the French blocking statute
