Malori McGill Fery is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Salt Lake City office and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Supreme Court & Appellate practices. She has experience in a broad range of substantive areas, spanning all stages of federal and state court litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. In particular, Malori is a member of the firm’s Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) practice, in which she focuses on defending benefit plans, plan sponsors, and ERISA fiduciaries in federal court class actions.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Malori clerked for The Honorable Morgan Christen on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also previously worked as a litigation associate at another prominent law firm in Seattle.

Malori received her JD from the University of Washington School of Law, where she served as Chief Articles Editor of the Washington Law Review and was a member of the University of Washington Appellate Advocacy Clinic. Through her clinic work, Malori assisted in briefing and arguing an immigration asylum appeal in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, ultimately resulting in a win for her client. Prior to attending law school, Malori was a Certified Public Accountant and worked as an auditor at a Big Four accounting firm in Seattle. Malori received undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance from Gonzaga University.
