During law school, Danni served as President of the Hispanic-Latinx Law Student Association and as Managing Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. Her student note was selected for publication in Volume 99 of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. Danni was also a Teaching Assistant for both Contract Law and Constitutional Law and received CALI Awards for earning the highest grades in Constitutional Law, Corporate Finance, International Business Transactions, and Supreme Court Review.
Danni also gained valuable practical experience as a judicial extern for Judge Joan H. Lefkow of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also completed a PILI Internship with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), and later served as a PILI Fellow at First Defense Legal Aid while studying for the bar. Before law school, Danni worked as a paralegal specializing in complex civil litigation.
