Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Monte Rodovias on the acquisition of Concessionária Litoral Norte and on the issuance of debentures to finance the operation

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Monte Rodovias on the acquisition of Concessionária Litoral Norte (CLN) for R$219.7 million, as well as on the acquisition finance structured through the issuance of debentures by Monte Forte Holding Participações S.A., the group's new holding company. The issuance totaled R$ 201.5 million, and the offer was led by Banco Santander.

CLN manages the BA-099 highway, which connects the city of Lauro de Freitas to the border between the states of Bahia and Sergipe, and is 183 km long, passing through important regions such as the Camaçari Industrial Pole in Bahia. The purchase of CLN (still subject to the closing of the acquisition transaction and other conditions precedent) will enable the extension of another of the company's projects, Concessionária Bahia Norte, which connects the metropolitan region of Salvador to the Camaçari Industrial Pole.
