Managing through COVID-19: NPLs, Enforcements and Other Issues from Lenders’ Perspective

On June 10, Beijing Partner Tom Fu and Hong Kong Partner John Marsden delivered a webinar to CMB International Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Merchants Bank, the sixth largest bank in China.
The presentation introduced the enforcement and court process in Hong Kong and mainland of China respectively, and discussed the details of disposal of a) offshore and b) onshore (PRC) non-performing loans from consolidated balance sheet. The presentation also briefly introduced the enforcement of Hong Kong judicial decisions and arbitral awards in mainland of China.
