Alan Linning hosted a Britcham webinar last week sharing the latest updates to Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)'s Code of Conduct, which was attended by more than 70 participants.
The team introduced the 'sponsor coupling' for main board listings and the guidelines on placing activities for GEM stocks. Alan also explained SFC's new requirements on bookbuilding and placing activities with reference to past enforcement actions against IPO sponsors. The speakers also provided recommendations to intermediaries on how to comply with the new SFC requirements effective August 2022.
