Brazil: Complementary Law No. 186/2021 Allows Extension of ICMS Tax Benefits for up to 15 Years

On October 28, 2021, the Complementary Law No. 186 was published allowing the extension for up to 15 years of tax or financial-tax exemptions, incentives, and benefits related to ICMS. Such extension covers the following activities: port and airport activities related to international trade; commercial activities; and interstate transporters of agricultural products and in natura vegetable extractives.
