Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises founder of Wine on the sale of his equity in the company

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised the founder of Wine, the leading wine retailer in Latin America and owner of the world's largest wine subscription club, on the sale of his equity in the Wine Group to Carbyne, an Apex Partners private equity firm.

Wine has been on the market since 2008 and its group includes two other brands that operate in the B2B format, Cantu and Bodegas, with exclusive sales to resellers.

The team was led by partner Bruno Werneck and included associates Sarah Ferreira and Bernardo Castro, from the Corporate and M&A area.
