MAYER BROWN PARTNER MAXIMILLIAN DEL REY APPOINTED CO-CHAIR OF NAPABA’S IMMIGRATION COMMITTEE

Washington DC – Mayer Brown Employment & Benefits partner Maximillian Del Rey has been appointed co-chair of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) Immigration Committee.

Max participates in NAPABA’s Partners Summit, which includes interactive programming designed to deepen relationships and bolster the collective impact of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) law firm partners. As co-chair of the Immigration Committee, he will provide support and networking opportunities to NAPABA lawyers on the national level. He will advise NAPABA senior leadership on immigration issues, and coordinate panels on immigration, including the latest developments and “hot topics” in US immigration law.

Based in Mayer Brown’s Washington DC office, Max advises clients on issues related to global mobility and migration, as well as immigration-related compliance and risk management. He advises domestic and multinational clients on the use of relevant employment-based work permit and visa categories to meet their training and hiring needs. Max co-chairs the office’s Asian American Pacific Islander affinity group.

NAPABA is the nation's largest Asian Pacific American membership organization representing the interests of 80,000 attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. The Immigration Committee consists of individuals who are interested in US immigration law and provides support and networking opportunities for each other on the national level.
