Mayer Brown pro bono partner, the Green Tech Legal Collaborative, wins “ESG Programme of the Year” at Legal Business Awards 2024

London – Mayer Brown’s pro bono partner, the Green Tech Legal Collaborative (“GTLC”), has been awarded “ESG Programme of the Year” at the Legal Business Awards 2024.

The pioneering initiative provides essential pro bono legal assistance to innovative startups from Imperial College London’s Enterprise Lab and Undaunted’s climate innovation accelerator program. Mayer Brown, alongside other leading law firms and corporations partnered with the GTLC were recognised for successfully supporting several startups in addressing their legal and compliance needs, playing an instrumental role in helping them advance toward a more sustainable future.

The GTLC has expanded to support 25 startups across a wide array of legal disciplines, including incorporation, intellectual property, distribution agreements, corporate filings, NDAs, employment, commercial agreements, and environmental planning requirements. This comprehensive legal support has enabled innovators to focus on their missions of sustainability and positive environmental impact.
