Brian Kent is a partner in Mayer Brown's Global Leveraged Finance & Private Capital group. Brian represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and other private and public companies in connection with domestic and international financing transactions at all levels of the capital structure. Brian’s recent experience includes representation of:

• Entrepreneurial Equity Partners, a US-based private equity firm, and several of its portfolio companies in connection with numerous domestic and cross-border credit facilities, consisting of term loans, delayed draw term loans and revolving credit commitments, which have been used to finance multiple cross-border acquisitions
• LKCM Headwater Investments, a US-based private equity firm, and several of its portfolio companies in connection with numerous domestic and cross-border credit facilities consisting of term loans, delayed draw term loans and revolving credit commitments, which have been used to finance multiple acquisitions
• 3i Group, a global private equity firm, and several of its portfolio companies in connection with multiple cross-border credit facilities, consisting of term loans and revolving credit commitments, which have been used to finance multiple acquisitions
• Tilia, a US-based private equity firm, and several of its portfolio companies in connection with numerous credit facilities, consisting of term loans and revolving credit commitments, which have been used to finance multiple acquisitions
• a Canadian private equity investment firm, in connection with a $550 million cross-border credit facility, consisting of term loans and revolving credit commitments, which has been used to finance acquisitions and capital expenditures
• Growth Catalyst Partners, a US-based private equity firm, and several of its portfolio companies in connection with its initial cross-border credit facility, consisting of term loans and revolving credit commitments, which has been used to finance multiple cross-border acquisitions
• a major US automaker in connection with multi-billion dollar revolving credit facilities
• a major US wire manufacturer in connection with a billion dollar asset-based revolving credit facility
• a public traded specialty distribution company in connection with a billion dollar credit facility, consisting of term loans, delayed draw term loans and revolving credit commitments.
