Lori Shannon

Lori provides advice on transactions for public and private for-profit companies and tax-exempt and governmental entities, including due diligence compliance and risk assessments, and post-transaction compensation and benefits integration. She has experience in the areas of tax-qualified retirement plans, 403(b) plans, health and welfare benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans (including 457 plans), equity and phantom equity-based incentive plans for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Lori assists clients with the design and drafting of executive and physician employment and consulting agreements, as well as severance, retention and change in control agreements. She advises clients on corporate governance and fiduciary best practices, as well as ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements for employee benefit plans.
