Mayer Brown partners named to India Business Law Journal's 2022 "International A-List"
Mayer Brown announced that partner David Carpenter was named to India Business Law Journal’s 2022 “International A-List.” This recognition honors the top 100 India-focused legal professionals who have developed strategies to serve clients in India without having a physical presence on the ground.
India Business Law Journal sought recommendations and nominations from lawyers in private practice and in-house in India of who they consider to be among the top legal professionals for advising on the international aspects of India-related matters.
Mr. Carpenter is a Corporate & Securities partner in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a co-chair of the firm’s India practice. He focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and sales of businesses, joint ventures and strategic alliances, with particular emphasis on cross-border transactions. He also advises clients on investment and joint venture activities in India.
