Corporate and Financial Institutions ESG Forum

Hong Kong Economic Times published a feature article about Mayer Brown organizing the "ESG Forum for PRC Enterprises and Financial Institutions", which attracted over 100 representatives from Chinese companies and banks. 

Discussions focused on the importance of ESG for social and economic development, China's green development initiatives, the potential of Hong Kong's sustainable finance market and the development of the ESG ecosystem in Asia.

Mayer Brown Asia Chair Hannah Ha gave the welcome speech and Mayer Brown Senior Partner Terence Tung delivered the closing address.

Banking & Finance partners Dion Yu and Angie Chan discussed the growth of green and sustainable finance in Hong Kong, while Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Alan Linning discussed ESG disclosure requirements and 'greenwashing' risks.
