Susan L. Alkadri

Susan Alkadri is an associate in the Houston office of Mayer Brown's Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Susan’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and restructuring. Susan regularly represents clients in the commercial real estate, construction, energy, financial services, and insurance sectors, among others.

Susan litigates commercial disputes in federal and state courts, and has substantial experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and international arbitration. She has helped clients obtain successful awards and judgments, and has facilitated the favorable resolution of cases through settlements. Susan also actively litigates in bankruptcy courts, and has represented clients in numerous bankruptcies, adversary proceedings, evidentiary proceedings, and contested matters. These representations include Debtors, lenders, creditors, insurers, and other parties in business restructurings in the cryptocurrency, energy, construction, real estate, and insurance industries.

Susan also advises clients on transactional matters with a focus on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
