Mayer Brown advises CNH Industrial on $2.1 billion acquisition of Raven Industries

Mayer Brown acted as intellectual property counsel to CNH Industrial N.V., a global leader in capital goods that implements design, manufacturing, distribution, commercial and financial activities in international markets, in its agreement to acquire 100 percent of the capital stock of Raven Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAVN), a leading provider in precision agriculture technology. The transaction is valued at approximately $2.1 billion.

The acquisition builds upon a long partnership between the two companies and will further enhance CNH Industrial’s position in the global agriculture equipment market by adding strong innovation capabilities in autonomous and precision agriculture technology. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.
